Design Intern
Branding & Digital Design Team
The Design Intern will be a member of the Branding & Digital Design Team. They will work closely with the Director of Branding & Digital Design to further the design goals and principles that will aid in spreading Pawsible’s mission. The Design Intern will assist with developing Pawsible’s brand and create designs for Pawsible’s use.
All members of Pawsible are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding financial applications and applicants. The only exception to this is individual applicants who have specifically elected for some of their information to be used in the promotion of Pawsible through testimonials and marketing materials.
This is a remote, part-time, and unpaid position within a growing organization. We are currently unable to pay any team member within Pawsible. The remote aspect of this position will be conducted largely on your own time and will require fluency in Google Suite products. Video conferencing will be used for meetings that will occur on a regular basis as they fit in your schedule.
In addition to assisting the Pawsible Team in your department, interns will receive professional development, networking, and other insights into the workings of a small nonprofit. We are looking for individuals that are able to commit at least 5-10 hours a week, but can be flexible to your availability. If you are doing this for course credit, we will do our best to accomodate the needs of your academic program.
The Summer 2021 Internship Program will begin June 1, 2021 and end August 13, 2021. These dates can be adjusted to fit the needs of your academic program on an as needed basis.
You do not need to be a student or involved in volunteer puppy raising to be an intern.

Accountability - As a member of the Branding & Digital Design Team all levels of Pawsible are counting on you to be a strong leader in our young and growing organization.
Initiative - Joining the Pawsible team requires taking initiative beyond the tasks given to you by the Director of Branding & Digital Design and other team members. This position shouldn't require a large number of hours per week, but we encourage you to grow and expand your duties in the role.
Empathy - Pawsible was founded and is built around being empathetic towards the situations of others. We have no tolerance for judgment over financial situations or on any other discriminatory basis. We hope that in this you will use your position and resources to support volunteers and make volunteer puppy raising a better volunteer experience.

As Design Intern you will:
Work as a member of the Branding & Digital Design Team
Work closely with the rest of the Branding & Digital Design Team
Be open to feedback.
Be open to growing your knowledge of branding, digital design, and marketing.
Work with other teams on developing their campaigns and making projects come to life.
Be flexible in working campaigns regarding getting donations, getting raisers to apply, and forming new chapters.
Work with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Development, and Marketing & Communications Team to assist in graphic needs for social advocacy campaigns, fundraisers, social media graphics, and more!
Graphic & Web Design
Understand and implement Pawsible brand and values in all work created.
Assist in the development of a Pawsible Style and Branding guides
Be a part of the brainstorming, production, and delivery of Pawsible Campaigns and templates.
Assist with company brand presentation on all platforms.
Assist with the digital design aspects of campaigns, collaborations, and initiatives.
Learn how Pawsible utilizes Wix and assist in
Increasing website accessibility for a wide breadth of disabilities
Updating website design and branding
Organizing our website so it is easy to navigate and user-optimized
Contribute to the production of multimedia content such as videos, animation, illustrations, presentations, photography, and graphic design/infographics.
Assist with design on social media posts, website, infographics, and the design of any other public-facing content.
Participate in Pawsible’s Internship Program
